Is it still possible to make money with AdSense?

I am about to make a small information website, actually i have a couple ideas.
I will also sign up for google adsense. My question is, is it still possible in year 2010 to make money with a couple absolutely new simple information websites?

I am a teenager and i currently don’t have a job and hoping to make a couple hundred dollars a month from AdSense, is it realistic?

You can get a couple hundred per month if you get thousands of visitors per month.
